Two for one post!

First off Stove making. The prossess is complete, I have made a stove/oven/waterheater from 1-55 gallon drum, 2-5 gallon buckets and some sheet stock. I must say it is very cool. I was so excited when they offered to us to make our stoves. Because of our class size there was not enough for every house. So naturally I rose my hand to make ours! It took me 6 days give or take.

Second the main event. Scratch cooking on Wednesday. The middle of the week, we made it half way and we're not starved or dead! (I know you are so proud mom!) Anyway on to the menu... For breakfast there was left over coffee cake, but I wanted something different. Since we had tortillias from last night left and Bacon from the night before that. I made breakfast burritos that were to die for! For lunch we tosted homemade bread with mayo spead so nicely layered with lettuce tomato and you guessed it the rest of the bacon, arn't we eatting to good for this week?! On to the dinner portion for the day. Hand tossed homemade Pizza! Joy was hard at work this afternoon making fresh pizza dough and sauce from scratch. This isn't to hard however because we really like pizza and don't want to pay the prices up here, so we've already had this meal. But none the less IT WAS GREAT!
